Part of the Core Channel team and responsible for heading the Marketing function for the No. 1 Malayalam GEC.
- The incumbent will be responsible for driving the strategy, planning and execution of the marketing agenda for the channels.
- H/She will work in close coordination with the Channel GM, Content Head and OAP head.
The applicant must be fluent in Malayalam
Location : Cochin
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement annual marketing (Communication, Strategic and Brand) plan for the channels
- Plan and manage the marketing budget of the channels
- Responsible for Impact & Sustenance related communication (both On Air & Off Air)
- To involve into concept testing (Psycho graphic profiling of the channel - Analyse the content and recognize the strong points) along with the Programming and Research team to understand the content and execute communication aligned to the channel.
- Mapping and Understanding the consumer behavior pattern to develop hypothesis and plan communication
- Increase horizontal and vertical distribution (Increase overall consumption of the product) Directly responsible for all programming & channel related communication across all mediums, like TV, print, digital, offline etc.

Communication targeted at 3 groups : Viewers, Ad-sales community, Distribution community and responsible for integrating self & the team into the Programming to understand product and craft & execute communication consistent with the content
