ABOUT THE ROLE
Use big data capability and data analysis techniques to recommend the best for business and thereby predict and influence business outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop fine-grain customer segmentation based on behavioral, transactional, social and other data analysis
- Develop a road map for Consumer Retention & Churn Management in order to achieve retention KPIs
- Use data trends to recommend strategies for customer acquisition and retention
- Analyze text-based data like email content and social media updates to glean user and customer sentiment.
- Suggest targeted products, services and action items to users based on analysis of past buying behavior and other data.
- Forecast demand for products and services to ensure we are ahead of the curve
- Identify and work with the right kind of analytics firms to drive the best analysis for the business
QUALIFICATION
Post Graduate degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration/Statistics/Operational Research/Mathematics
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 12+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics/Modelling in a consumer driven digital company
- Proven experience of working on large, complex, multi-dimensional dataset using a variety of programming tools such as R, Python, SQL. Experience in Big Data technologies is a big plus.
- Experience in using data visualization tools like Tableau, Omniture/Mixed Panel
- Familiar with digital campaign management and reporting tools
- Strong knowledge of digital media, current international trends in media consumption, marketing opportunities
