Disney Star Network-Corporate Office & Strategic Projects

As a member of the Corporate Office & Strategic Projects team, you will be responsible to work closely with President, TWDC and Star India and executive team as high-visibility strategic and thought partner that leads the coordination and strategic alignment of diverse lines of businesses. You will be responsible for streamlining high-importance projects and conducting leadership level internal and external initiatives that have very significant impact on our business objectives.

Key roles and responsibilities :

1. Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads

2. Ensure that mission, vision, principles and corporate's objectives are properly developed and communicated across teams

3. Conduct deep dive analysis on strategic topics on a regular basis and provide insights and recommendations, topics can be of a wide range including competition analysis, analysis of a new opportunity areas, identifying emerging trends, performance analysis, etc.

4. Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.

5. Review, design, and execute on improvements to organization structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them

6. Work closely with the strategy head/corporate affairs head during key annual corporate submissions such as annual operating plans, long range planning etc and any other strategic initiative

7. Provide decision support by streamlining and sharing reports of our key business metrics such as sales, viewership and subscriptions performance. Track metrics to highlight opportunities and challenges

8. Provide support on external engagements such as IBDF, CII, BARC as well as CEO's external speaking opportunities. This will entail drafting speeches/ scripts and coordinating with the respective external stakeholder before the board meetings and ensuring minutes are circulated post such discussions

9. Own and continuously improve company operating cadence (e.g. executive team meetings, leadership offsites, monthly or quarterly OKRs reviews etc.)

10. Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity

11. Collaborate with other support functions such as with HR, IT and Internal communications to prepare for key internal events, e.g. organization wide townhalls

12. Provide ad-hoc support on small to large projects aligned to Corporate's objectives (e.g. research, modelling, internal initiatives, expansion efforts, partnerships, etc.)

Qualifications and Experiences :

- Master's degree in Business Administration or similar field

- 2-6 years in a business or executive management role

- Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives

- Extensive knowledge of unit economics, business operations, and corporate development and strategy

- Ability to conduct market research and analysis that informs project selection

- Advanced understanding of MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (or equivalent) to develop executive presentations and documents

- Proven success in driving complex programs / projects in ambiguous environment

- Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions

- High EQ, strong orientation to team culture and collaboration particularly in a highly matrixed, cross-functional context

- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

- Strong bias for action, demonstrated drive for results

- Excellent organization and attention to detail.

- Ability to multitask and understand how to prioritize tasks based on importance vs. immediacy

- Mature judgment and discretion in keeping sensitive information confidential
