The Strategy & Insights group plays a significant role with STAR in India. The group creates a competitive advantage for STAR by delivering compelling insights that help define business strategy and facilitate speed and accuracy of decision-making.   - Analyzing network & channel performance and providing inputs based on consumer understanding and plan a strategy   - Studying trends, markets, and specific TG's of own network and competition.  - Setting Network priorities as well as individual channel priorities  - Consumer Insights: Utilize Primary & Secondary data to provide inputs to Programming team on trends in the environment. Also on how we are being received by consumers & also provide a way forward.  - Handling commissioned research - qualitative or quantitative, dealing with research agencies   - Analyzing viewership trends and planning actionable inputs across programming and promotion  - Regular report on show health, character strength, awareness levels to aid marketing and programming team   - Quantitative & Qualitative: TAM Analysis; Competitive Tracking, Positioning Testing & Consumer Connects   - Feeding into Content Development, inputs to the Marketing on Research conducted  - Keeping a track on various shows to preempt competitive actions  Qualification :   - A Master's degree in Management or Bachelors in Business/Marketing/Statistics/Mathematics or related field from a reputed institution with 8-10 yrs of experience
