Star TV - AM/Manager - Business Object Solution Lead

Position summary:

1. Contributes and improves the enterprise information strategy.

2. Sets, reviews plans to enable, improve: reporting, information self-service, story boarding, analytics, etc.

3. Gathers, matures user requirements.

4. Finds, creates a solution, develops or works with the outsourcing partner for the solution delivery.

5. Documents & ensures maintenance of the organization traceability, general controls

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contribute & Improve the BI & Analytics:

a. Architecture

b. Solutions

c. Visualization, absorption of information

Serving the short, medium & long terms needs via small & big data.

2. Come up with concepts, PoCs, solutions to improve the BI & Analytics domain.

3. Help improve & contribute to the:

a. Practice, modeling standards, guidelines, techniques, etc.

4. Assist Star in evaluating

a. Performance measurement criteria

b. Technology, Tools

c. Vendors

d. Scoping, planning of any hardware & software change/upgrades/new installations and/or migrations

5. Translate the requirements into solutions & own the solution delivery.

Key Deliverables:

1. Aid, contribution in improvement to the information architecture, road map, specifically the visualization.

2. Velocity, richness, depth, re-use-ability, adoption of the solution delivery & user satisfaction, while conforming to documentation, traceability, ITGC norms.

3. Knowledge creation & sharing.

Key Measures:

1. Certification, citation of the contribution to the, architecture, visualization framework.

2. Improvement in the solution delivery cycles, maturity of the solution & the user satisfaction level.

Education: B.Tech, MCA,BCA

SAP BoB J, Tablue, Qlik View - Certification

Experience: 3 - 7 Years in development, implementation use of SAP BoB J or other equivalent

Technologies.

Technical Skills:

1. SAP BobJ 4.0/4.1 BI Platform Architecture, covering client, web, processing servers, from reporting data bases - IDT, UDT, Import Wizard, Crystal Reports, Webi Rich Client, Dashboards, Explorer, Design Studio & Lumira.

2. Design, build and maintain the primary aspects of Business Objects universes, familiar with Universe Design Tool in 4.0

3. Familiar with Data Services, Data Quality Services, Admin & Security, Designing and Deploying a Solution.

4. Excellent understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, Data Governance, MDM and ability to apply this understanding to recommend and implement solutions for difficult and complex requirements.

5. Proficiency in SQL to write and understand complex SQL statements
