Job description :

Roles and Responsibilities : This position will be at a middle level in the hierarchy in the department reporting to MD. This position will handle areas like general accounting, operations accounting, financial reporting, taxation, banking & investment etc.

Area & Responsibility :

- General Accounting (including operations accounting)

- Banking & Investment

- Financial Reporting

- Direct & Indirect Taxation

- MIS and Board Reporting

Department : Finance & Accounts

Reports to : MD

Experience : Minimum 4 years' experience in either Finance & Accounts Department

Trainings : Training in the area of required knowledge would be an added advantage.

Functional Competencies :

- Hands on experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting (up to preparation of financial statements of limited company) and Audit .

- Hands on experience in direct and indirect taxation.

- Good Team Management Skills.

- Good Communication & interpersonal skills.

- Good level of Technology awareness Knowledge.

- Very good knowledge of Accounting and Taxation (Income Tax, Goods & Service Tax), Accounting Standards, Financial Reporting requirements, Corporate and Mercantile Laws, Financial & Commercial aspects etc.

- Good Knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Word etc. ERP SAP would be an added advantage.
