Looking for someone who is proficient with the following:
- Kitchen design and flow should understand how kitchens should be designed and how the preparation flow works
- Food quality and taste - Should have a good taste for food, understand ingredients, menu mix etc, and should have a very high bar for the quality of food
- Food Logistics - Not a must-have, but will be good if they know about best practices in food logistics
- Smart and good with numbers - should understand costs well and be able to work under strict budgets
- Tech bent of mind - should be able to think of tech solutions that can be incorporated to manage food operations at scale
Key Responsibilities:
- Take complete ownership of the most important driver for customer experience i.e. food
- Establish and run multi-city food operations for over 20,000 students serving 2.4 million meals a month.
- Design and constantly improve upon the ideal menu for over 20,000 students across different regions of the country
- Takeover and transform existing kitchens and then design workflow for food preparation
- Own and run a zero-defect on-ground execution to ensure the highest quality food gets delivered at the right time and in the right quantity every single day
- Search for and launch new technologies, including IoT solutions, to manage operations at scale
