Job Description : The Project Manager is a key role responsible for managing delivery of Operational Risk Change Projects on the Group Operational Risk Platform (GORP) and playing a leadership role for the Operational Risk Change team based in India. The key role activities are : - To be able to plan and execute project delivery considering the scope, resources, costs, and the RAID for the initiative or multiple initiatives within the business function. - To be able to engage stakeholders and liaise with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to drive the necessary outcomes for successful delivery and where necessary facilitate the resolution of issues and design issues. - To be able to get into the details of the requirements which are included in the scope for delivery and review the artefacts developed by the business analysts and ensure these are to quality. - Exposure to regulatory driven demand and working to tight timelines, Traditional and Agile experience in delivery management will be expected. Key Roles & Responsibilities : - Manage Project Delivery by engaging with key business/ function and technology stakeholders - Organise and drive workshops with business leads, engage and manage operational risk stakeholders - Manage regular weekly project working groups and delivery forums - Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously - Ensure all governance steps are followed correctly and completely - Demonstrate both structured and agile approach to achieve maximum delivery of scope - Support the Head of GRC and OR Change to deliver solutions to tight timelines - Line management of the BA team based in India location - Manage financial planning - Follow SCB best practice in management protocols and project/delivery standards - Understand the Bank's strategy for Operational Risk Management - Work closely with the T&I team and the technical vendor partner to deliver the desired outcome for the project - Support the roll-out plan and release activities inclusive of BAU support on the new platform - Ability to create effective working relationships across functions and across the borders Qualifications & Skills : - Business Degree or Equivalent - 5-10 years of Operational Risk Expertise - 10-15 years of Project Management Experience - Exposure to Agile methodology of project delivery - Ability to manage trade-offs of system needs between stakeholders - Can work independently to strict timeframes - Strong team collaboration skills to mobilise operational risk teams in business and functions to collectively deliver system priorities - Focused, organised and results-oriented - Strong and effective communication skills - Professional project management skills desirable (PMP/PMI/ CSM etc)
