A seasoned techno functional professional responsible for managing end to end HP and HPCM system change, demand aggregation, prioritization, project and stakeholder management with an ability to lead overall delivery as well as act as a bridge between functional owners and technology.

For achieving these goals, it is a key requirement that the candidate is expected to speak business/ functional language in terms of the impact on the Finance community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Being accountable and lead overall delivery of the HP and HPCM change solutions

2. Act as a single point of change request aggregation, demand prioritization and implementation

3. Managing stakeholders to communicate delivery updates, risks/issues and benefits articulation

4. Issues resolution & crisis management; being able to manage and communicate to key stakeholders

5. Managing decisions & escalations required for senior stakeholders to ensure effective usage of time. Act as a point of escalations and change control.

6. Being the architect of how system approach should work as well as run / drive change

7. Ability to take a step back and challenge why we do what we do and develop alternative short, medium and long term plans to improve things

8. Project management: manage multiple projects, drive project planning, resource planning & hiring (wherever required) for success of these projects.

9. Deep understanding of the multi dimensional data model whilst being the sign off point for amendments & enhancements to the model

10. Data mapping from source systems into HP/ HPCM & how the different data models interact

11. Leading both technical system developers and financial business analysts under a single combined delivery team

14. Mentoring colleagues in non-technical growth areas (communication, leadership, presentation skills etc)

15. Deep knowledge and understanding of complex planning processes conducted in large multi-national banks. Management accounting background preferred.

16. Manage the key challenges driving the activities including impact on processes, operating models, data management and business/technology changes

17. Exercise right level of diligence, control and governance while designing the new process/ change to comply with bank's Data Quality and Reporting Standards including those that are prescribed by Basel and the Regulatory Environment in which the bank operates (where applicable).

18. Ensure Operational risk monitoring across all processes covered by the team and report key risks emanating from them to right forums.

KEY COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE :

- Project management experience of leading large-scale delivery projects in a banking environment

- A strong understanding of how Hyperion Planning works on a technical and functional basis

- Ability to effectively articulate business requirements and act as a bridge between functional owners and technology

- Prior implementation experience using Hyperion Products (Hyperion Planning, HFM, HPCM, DRM)

- Proficiency with SQL tools such as SQL developer or TOAD

- Ability to understand system architecture

- Understand the theory and process around data integration

- Master data management principles

- Understand the principles of multi-dimensionality of data models, especially SCBs

- Senior stakeholder management including communication skills, presenting, influencing and challenging demands wherever required.

- Good understanding of the Planning & Budgeting Process/ cycles as it pertains to large organizations

- Ability to culturally orient in diverse & international team environment and lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS :

- Finance Professionals or Graduation in Sciences, Engineering + MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution

- Strong analytical skills

- Good understanding of banking products / Operations

- Domain skills on running Finance Operations, Finance Data Warehousing preferred

- Strong communication skills

- Good stakeholder management skills

- Effective communication skills, including presenting and influencing senior management.

- Initiative and proactive thinking
