JOB ROLE :

- The primary purpose of this role is to work with the Head, Client Proposition in managing, customising and delivering SCB's wealth management proposition to clients in the country, developing a best-in-class wealth client experience, wealth brand recognition, sales and customer education programmes, and providing core input to the strategic development of the business. The role also involves working with the Head, WM India in supporting execution of the overall strategy for the business and engagement with internal stakeholders on the same

- This role collaborates with client groups and marketing to connect and align the wealth product strategy with the client strategy. Within the wealth products team, this role works in partnership with the investments, insurance and WMPS product groups.

- The role is jointly accountable for the WM performance as measured by growth in revenue, number of active wealth customers, wealth client deepening metrics, wealth penetration in segments, customer satisfaction with wealth, external brand recognition for SCB WM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

The person will be responsible for the following :

WM Proposition and Positioning :

- Design/customise and drive compelling proof points, tools and standards that promote our proposition and capabilities, digital solutions and enhancements to frontline teams and clients

- Drive regular marketing and analytics campaigns to increase NTW clients, improve wealth X-sell and deepening. Track effectiveness and take actions necessary to sustain performance

- Design and drive initiatives to improve wealth penetration across segments, measure and monitor growth and undertake course correction as required

- Drive presence and communication across digital channels - website, social media and other online media to promote WM capabilities and drive digital wealth transactions

- Support the development of digital strategy for advisory content and business development

- Position, package and market our wealth advisory content, solutions and capabilities, tailored to respective client segments- needs

- Lead and implement client and RM education programmes that promotes and strengthens the delivery of our wealth management proposition to clients

- Establish and implement holistic strategy to raise our brand awareness and recognition as a leader in wealth management through use of media relations, robust marketing programs, client engagement seminars and ensuring content presence across all our client-facing channels

- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders in supporting execution of the overall strategy for the wealth business

WM Client Experience :

- Design/customise and drive the implementation of the target wealth client journey and contact strategy across the respective segments

- Drive robust adoption of the wealth advisory process and tools with frontline teams and Segments, to achieve a standardized and consistent wealth management experience

- Continuously monitor outcomes and identify areas of opportunities and improvement

- Use of analytics and data-mining to uncover untapped opportunities

Market and Client Insights :

- Perform customers and performance analysis to gain in-depth understanding of purchase behaviour and preferences, levers of growth and depth of wealth management relationships.

- Initiate and manage the use of market and client insights and competitor benchmarking to drive the development of our wealth management proposition and strategy

- Set and monitor market positioning and brand recognition benchmarks vs. competition

- Obtain and use diagnostics insights from NPS studies and regular frontline feedback to identify new opportunities and areas of improvement on wealth client experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE :

Functional

- Knowledge and experience in wealth management, banking and retail business, including prior experience in product, segment or marketing management.

- Analytical skills

Personal :

- Ability to think out of the box for creative solutions

- Excellent communication skills

- Self-starter with ability to manage a diverse range of tasks
