1) Interpretation of GST statute and application of the same to advise businesses and functions - issuance of GBCs post analysis and interpretation of circulars/notifications and amendments in GST laws  2) Review of compliances under GST regime ( SCB & Group) and handling audit for submission of GST returns state wise  3) Preparation of appeals and submissions to revenue authorities for pending litigation items under service tax regime and liaison with counsel for pending appeals before various appellate fora  4) Periodic health checks to ensure the bank is GST compliant.  Qualifications :  - Qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 8-10 years post qualification experience in handling indirect tax accounting and advisory services preferably in financial services sector or Big 4  - A good knowledge of GST laws enabling the candidate to provide guidance and tax advice on GST matters to stakeholders  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in handling revenue officials at different levels to ensure smooth liaison with revenue department
