Staff Auditor - Financial Firm

JOB SUMMARY:

We have a unique growth opportunity available for a Staff Auditor in our Ahmedabad, India office.

As a Staff II (experienced staff associate), you will be responsible for the following:

- Assisting in client engagements

- Supporting financial statement audits, compilations, and reviews

- Preparation of information tax returns and draft client deliverables

- Helping train, guide and instruct lower level staff/interns

- Performing audits on not-for-profit and for-profit senior living and housing industries

REQUIREMENTS: 

We are looking for a dedicated team player with a heart for client service. The right candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

- Minimum of at least one year of recent Public Accounting experience in Audit

- Preferably has obtained Chartered Accountant Certification or is currently in the process of obtaining certification

- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial matters in audits, reviews and compilations is preferable. If without this experience, will train and expect proficiency as part of role.

- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office package is required. Advanced Excel skills preferred.

- Ability to quickly become proficient, with training, in the other information technology tools used by our firm such as CCH's ProSystem fX and/or Engagement software packages

- Strong ability to plan and organize work

- Excellent written and oral English communications skills

- Ability to actively maintain client and Mueller Prost staff relationships providing optimum client service in a timely manner

- Ability to work overtime as required throughout the year

- Ability to travel to US during January through March in first year for training
