Deserving candidates may also be considered for higher salaries based on Qualifications and Experience.  Job Description :   - Manage a Team of IT Staff for the Organization  - Overall management of the hardware, software (OS, DB, VM) and networking issues  - To be able to strategize and plan the growth of the IT infrastructure.   - Requirement Analysis with regards to Information and communication Technology (ICT)  - Plan & Maintain the existing ICT technology infrastructures for the organization  - Educating stakeholders (management & clients) objectively on new plans and implementation, and updating on the progress of such projects   - To be capable to technically evaluate and compare ICT infrastructure for St. John's.  - Able to plan projects with proper timelines & budgeting, execution of the projects and timely completion   - Evaluation of each project stage and once completed be able to review the project  - Maintaining high-standards of the ICT projects   - Ensuring smooth functioning of the organizational IT systems including dealing with outsourced vendors both for Infrastructure and Software systems.  - Evaluating hardware and software resources of the Organization (including Desktops, Laptops, Servers, Network Switches, Operating system, Office software etc)  - Build an organizational policy concerning IT Security, Quality standards maintained, and documents related to strategic planning  - Provide end-users appropriate support and advice  - Managing crisis situations in a organization concerning complex technical hardware, networking or software problems  - Recruiting, mentoring and training ICT staff  - Evaluation and appraisals of the ICT staff  - Maintaining network standards, administrating scripts, SOP's and stored procedures on various IT processes, and managing GIS applications  Desired Candidates Profile :   - Must have past experience as a IT Manager in a large organization/campus for at least 3 years.  - Excellent communication skill and ability to work with other employees and vendors  - Motivated self-starter personality  - Able to work independently and lead a team  - Must be willing to attend critical situations on-site on a 24x7 basis when the need arises.   - Should have sound knowledge of English and be familiar with 1 or more South Indian languages
