Opening For Sr.Manager/Manager -Legal (Litigation) with the leading Bank In Delhi.

Litigation (Civil, Consumer, Criminal & Misc.)

1.Defend and protect Company’s business interests and its officials; Initiate out of court settlements to avoid unwarranted financial exposures to Company on account of against litigation;

2.Meeting with lawyers for furnishing details and documents; Follow ups with lawyers' office on status update of various cases both by and against.

3.Provide guidance and support to customer service team for closure of consumer cases through various ADR options

4.Legal supports to BUs/Functions in police matters, complaints, FIRs, bail applications and proactively avoid prosecution and harassment of Company Officials in the course of business operations.

5.Coordination with various other departments for extracting details and documents required for defending/ instituting litigation.

6.Attending Courts in context of litigation including.

7.Consumer matters, Civil & Criminal matters, Debt Recovery Matters, Arbitration Matters, Execution proceedings, Mortgages Proceedings under "SARFAESI" Act 2002, Advisory to Retail Asset and Liabilities on Customer issues and Compliance under customer Redressal,

Legal Notices

1.Management of legal notices (civil, consumer, criminal and misc.) and arranging for timely response to prevent any litigation;.

2.Avert and prevent avoidable litigation, claims, actions and adopt customer friendly approach while responding to customers;.

3.Provide guidance and support to Legal Collection team for recovery of outstanding dues from defaulting customers and facilitate actions through legal notices and cases and various other ADR options such as Lok Adalats, conciliation, etc.

4.Drafting of Queries and addressing same to other departments for their revert.

5.Seeking response and analyzing the demands/ grievance and drawing course of action.

6.Drafting of Reply / compromise note etc on time and within TAT.

Miscellaneous Legal Assignments

1.Facilitate timely response on all legal matters and initiate action to achieve desired business objectives in coordination with the Users to protect Company from all potential risks and exposures.

2.Support and facilitate Retail Loan Collection Team in speedy recovery of dues and provide legal advice/solutions in all legal /customer related issues;

3.Providing timely support to the internal customers in all legal matters.

4.Conduct Legal Audits to ensure compliance and verify validity and enforce ability of legal contracts; share best practices, processes across the circles for uniform implementation.
