Srinidhi - Head - Fund Raising - Debt & Equity

A boutique investment house, in business for over a decade, which invests in private credit and equity opportunities in small and mid-corporate of India. Company operates an Alternative Investment Fund of Category II, a regulated fund under SEBI license and an NBFC (Investment Credit Company - ICC) regulated by RBI. Company is a sector agnostic fund manager and managing an AUM of more than USD 100 million with structured credit approach towards Indian private equity.

Looking for Leadership and mid-management roles for Fund raising in both Debt and Equity Space.

Job Role

- Lead the credit/equity fund-raising initiatives for AIF, NBFC and individual group/portfolio companies.

- Ensure the fulfilment of planned fund raise as per coined mandate and clear visibility of funds and lending/investment relationships thereby ensuring the growth of AUM and cash flows.

- Prepare the marketing collaterals and necessary documentation to aid the fund raise initiatives.

- On board and manage Institutional investment funds, Wealth managers, Family offices and UHNIs.

- Represent the Fund Manager and portfolio companies to fund raising ecosystem such as wealth managers, institutional investment funds, PSU/ private banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, trustees, brokers & intermediaries, merchant bankers, family offices, mutual funds, private equity/credit funds both in domestic & international markets to ensure that the adequate credit/equity subscription.

- Nurture and develop deep & extensive network and relationship with fund raising ecosystem.

- Onboard and manage the Investors for the entire lifecycle of the credit/equity investments.

- Providing the periodic financial information in the formats agreed with the Investors at agreed intervals after review with fund manager and management of the originators.

- Oversee and ensure fulfilment of compliance, legal and statutory requirements pertaining to funds raised.

- Develop relevant investment channels and structures tailored to the requirement of end-use of funds.

- Build and manage investor relations/fund-raising team as required for ensuring successful achievement of fund-raising initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

- CA/MBA/CFA or other relevant educational qualification

- Current job should have had hands on experience in raising equity or debt and strong relationships with wealth managers, institutional investment funds, PSU/ private banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, family offices, mutual funds, private equity/credit funds.

- A person with proven professional competency and managerial ability at the corporate level who has worked with small/medium size fund, NBFC, Wealth manager, Merchant and Private Banking institutions etc.

- Good commercial and business acumen.

- Special preference for candidates networked in Global investment markets.

- Strong leadership, networking and negotiating skills applicable for domestic and international capital markets.
