The position would be responsible for a cluster of business comprising of various Therapeutic segments.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Full responsibility for sales & marketing, managing agreed targets, controls and systems

- The incumbent should have a background of having done strategic planning exercises, implementation of those plans and success thereof.

- He should create a monitoring mechanism to ensure that the operational and developmental strategies decided by him and his senior team are getting executed properly.

- Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.

- Serve as a key member of the executive team that sets the company’s strategic direction

- Forge long-term relationship with Customers, Business Partners and other associates.

- He should have enough courage to fight with the hostile environment of pharmaceutical trade union like FMRAI etc.

- He must have commercial astuteness to continuously monitor the input cost to ensure cost killing as an important objective for various activities undertaken by the SBU.

- He should have a good understanding of finance and the outbound supply chain management.

Over and above this, he should conceptualize and implement strict measures in the SOP to optimize resource utilization. He should re-vamp MIS and ensure the flow of information from top to bottom and vice versa, undistorted.

EDUCATION:

Pharmacy/Science graduate with MBA / PGDBM (Marketing).

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

- Strong personality and command respect, yet with good diplomatic skills.

- Analytical Skill with good judgment and decision making skills.

- Has a pioneer’s mentality and a strong drive, willingness and passion to make things happen.

- Motivator and stimulator and should have a dynamic leadership ability to inspire and enthuse people across the board.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

- Ideal candidate should have a proven track record in spearheading teams and driving P&L to meet ambitious business targets.

- Candidate would be responsible for managing business of 1250 Cr.
