SENIOR SPECIALIST - ASSURANCE (FINANCIAL AUDIT)

- Leads in the development, implementation and sustainability of process, technology and training initiatives for all Assurance departments. Maintains and enhances depth and breadth of expertise in multiple technical and process areas within Assurance. Partners with Assurance management, Finance OE, and other teams as needed. Leads the direction and development of analysts on many projects.

Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals. As a Senior Specialist Assurance, you'll take the lead as you

- Participates in the development and execution of operational, process and compliance audits, at Target India

- Develops audit programs, performs audit procedures, completes work paper documentation and prepares audit reports

- Consults with business partners to identify, analyze and evaluate business issues and identify improvement opportunities

- Support Target India Assurance Project Manager in the process of scoping and planning activities for India audits across pyramids, perform risk interviews and perform risk assessment

- Determines the reliability and effectiveness of existing internal controls

- Innovate ways to improve audit life cycle and audit process to bring in more efficiency and effectiveness

- Communicates business issues and recommendations to management, verbal and written

- Identifies areas at risk and assists in the development of controls to mitigate those risks

- Leads special projects as assigned by Project Manager/ Manager

- Gives input on strategic direction for Assurance; may work on strategic projects led by others.

- Trains and acts as mentor to new team members

- Build strong relationships with Target India management and business partners. Effectively interact and work with various levels of management in the organization

Requirements

- Course on ACA; CPA; CIA; CFE

- 3+ years of relevant experience

- Strong understanding auditing principles and techniques (e.g. Internal Audit framework by IIA or COSO)

- Should be able to understand complex business situations, risk and controls in ERP environment, identify gaps and suggest leading practices

- Should be process oriented with strong analytical skills

- Ability to anticipate and address questions from all levels

- Ability to recognize interrelationships and handle complexities for decision making

- Ability to plan for contingencies and develop alternatives

- Experienced in building and maintaining relationships with partners

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Strong PC knowledge and ability to assist others in developing system skills

- Ability to multi-task and multi-audit, ability to work with people from various cultures

- Ability to work independently with high level of initiative and stay current on all department processes
