Senior SAP PP - Functional Analyst

Description

- Looking for a senior SAP Applications expert skilled in the functionality and configuration of SAP PP to lead the development and support of integrating supply chain business processes and inventory management.

Responsibilities & Job Duties

- Provide vision and strategic direction for SAP solutions supporting PP processes across product lines

- Lead requirement gathering facilitated sessions for “as-is” process mapping and “to-be” process design.

- Assist in the evaluation, definition and approval of SAP modifications and enhancements in PP and related areas

- Design and document functional test plans and scenarios (Unit Testing, IST, and UAT) and work through the testing and validation process with the key users to ensure the functional specifications are implemented in ways that meets the business requirements.

- Responsible to close out defects on solutions designed including testing and coordination of the testing till defects are closed.

- Support the training of the SME and coordinate with SME in delivering and supporting SAP solutions.

- Support in testing and implementation of new SAP releases

- Maintain SAP PP configuration and configuration change documentation

- Provide second level support to installed systems and users in the above areas

- Coordinate end-user training including creation of training material, conducting training sessions.

- Assist with SAP Rollout thru APAC region

Experience / Qualifications

SAP Related

- 8 years or more of R/3 configuration experience including project implementations.

- 3-4 Full- life cycle implementation experience

- Experience in Make-to-Stock environment

- Experience with Master Data Such as material master, Bills of material, work centers, various types of routings, Batch Management

- Experience with Sales and Operations Planning, Standard & Flexible SOP

- Experience with MRP consumption based planning, Conversion of planned orders to production orders, basic settings of MRP, Capacity planning

- Experience with Shop Floor Control, Creation of production order, Confirmation, Goods movement such as received and issued

- Excellent understanding of integration with Finance & Controlling

- Good knowledge and experience in understanding of Product Costing

- Some experience in Quality Management (QM) and/or Plant Maintenance (PM) will be very desirable

- Must be able to scope and create BPPs (Business Process Procedures) and PDDs (Process Definition Document). These are the necessary documents delivered in Configuration.

- Must be able to scope, review, and create functional specifications and assist the development team in writing the technical specifications for PP “FRICE” (i.e. Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancement).

- Experience with data migration of PP objects

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in general and strong facilitation and presentation experience skills specifically.

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Comfortable in defending SAP solutions with peers forming an SAP governance council.

- Very detail oriented person with superior problem solving ability.

- Prefer someone who has performed in a lead role and in more than one implementation. Seeking a “go-to” person that has the experience to solve tough problems.

- Ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business

- Experience in rolling out global SAP template thru India & Asia

- Must be willing to Travel in the first 2 years (First within India, and then Vietnam/ Australia)
