Senior SAP FICO - Functional Analyst

Description

- Looking for a senior SAP Applications expert skilled in the functionality and configuration of SAP FICO to lead the development and support of integrating supply chain business processes and inventory management.

Responsibilities & Job Duties

- Provide vision and strategic direction for SAP solutions supporting FICO processes across product lines

- Lead requirement gathering facilitated sessions for “as-is” process mapping and “to-be” process design.

- Assist in the evaluation, definition and approval of SAP modifications and enhancements in FICO and related areas

- Design and document functional test plans and scenarios (Unit Testing, IST, and UAT) and work through the testing and validation process with the key users to ensure the functional specifications are implemented in ways that meets the business requirements.

- Responsible to close out defects on solutions designed including testing and coordination of the testing till defects are closed.

- Support the training of the SME and coordinate with SME in delivering and supporting SAP solutions.

- Support in testing and implementation of new SAP releases

- Maintain SAP FICO configuration and configuration change documentation

- Provide second level support to installed systems and users in the above areas

- Coordinate end-user training including creation of training material, conducting training sessions.

- Assist with SAP Rollout thru APAC region

Experience / Qualifications

SAP Related

- 8 years or more of R/3 experience with a minimum of 4+ years of configuration experience including project implementations.

- 3-4 Full- life cycle implementation experience

- Working knowledge of Core FICO concepts like General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Cost Centre & Cost Element Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis and Profit Centre Accounting

- Strong knowledge in the design, configuration and testing of core FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR)

- Design, configuration and testing of CO-PA is preferred

- Experience with report writer and report painter

- Experience with product costing is desirable

- Experience with FSCM Credit management is preferred

- Solid grasp of FICO integrations with other modules (i.e. SD, MM, PP, etc.).

- At least 4 years of experience with ECC 6.0

- Must be able to scope and create BPPs (Business Process Procedures) and PDDs (Process Definition Document). These are the necessary documents delivered in Configuration.

- Must be able to scope, review, and create functional specifications and assist the development team in writing the technical specifications for FICO “FRICE” (i.e. Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancement).

- Experience with data migration of FICO objects

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in general and strong facilitation and presentation experience skills specifically.

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Comfortable in defending SAP solutions with peers forming an SAP governance council.

- Very detail oriented person with superior problem solving ability.

- Prefer someone who has performed in a lead role and in more than one implementation. Seeking a “go-to” person that has the experience to solve tough problems.

- Ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business

- Experience in rolling out global SAP template thru India & Asia

- Must be willing to Travel in the first 2 years (First within India, and then Vietnam/ Australia)
