Job Description: Senior Profile for Policy Advocacy in Energy Sector

Company Name: One of fast growing company in renewable energy domain, part of US$ 3.5 Billion diversified Indian Conglomerate

Essential Requirement:

- Excellent understanding of Indian and international power sector, policies

- Techno-commercial experience in thermal, Solar and wind power projects

- Exposure in BD, liaisoning and strategic analysis

- Excellent communication skills

- Graduation – B.E./B.Tech; Post Graduation- MBA

- Relevant experience in policy analysis, lobbying and media work;

- Experience in networking and partnership and capacity in partnership management.

- 15 years and above experience in the domain with good exposure of working in Power Industry/Sector

Key Deliverables:

- Develop and implement a lobbying and advocacy strategy and plans towards critical actors

- In close collaboration with senior management team, develop a clear strategy of positioning the agreed policy and advocacy agenda in India and other countries in general

- Develop and maintain sustained Partnerships and Alliances with Organizations and institutions working in power sector

- Identify international best practices in each of the segments we operate and let respective teams know about these practices

- Ensuring Compliance to various Regulatory and Statutory Directives / Orders.
