Welspun Energy is setting up several thousand MW of Wind, Thermal and Solar power plants across various states in India. The company has over 270 MW of solar projects on the ground and a pipeline of 1.7 GW of renewable power projects.
For Business development activties , we are looking for profiles with Excellent understanding of Indian and international energy sector,Techno-commercial experience in power projects,Relevant experience in business development, liasoning and strategic analysis.
Incumbent will look after business development, policy advocacy, regulatory etc.
Other key deliverables will be
- Identification, Evaluation and Development of domestic and international investment opportunities in Power Sector with specific focus on renewable.
- Identification of potential opportunities, cost benefit and viability analysis for the projects.
- Business analysis and planning in line with overall organization plan.
- Bid preparation, Cost Analysis, keeping record of competitors, Financial Closures of the projects.
- Participation in competitive bids for development of Power Plants under Case I and Case II bidding guidelines as well Bidding for Coal etc
- Ensuring maximum brand visibility.
- Signing of Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with concerned agencies.
- Understanding of government policies and procedures.
- Business and strategic networking.
- Public / government affairs.
