Roles and responsibilities :

We are looking for a passionate, experienced, technical hands-on Senior Product Development Manager who will focus on eCommerce and Mobility Product Development. The successful candidate should have extensive experience in leading and managing high-volume ecommerce sites for international retail bands, as well as leading and managing native (ios and Android) hybrid mobile customer apps development with rich experience on mobile architecture, UI/UX, web services integration, APIs integration, payment integration etc. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical skill in software architecture, development, deployment and operational aspects who will shape and deliver the strategies to maintain, build and expand our cloud service marketplace as well as mentor other team members on best practices and manages projects through product development lifecycle, develops business requirements and KPIs.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Work with Alshaya product managers, partner development, engineering managers, professional services, and support teams to prioritize and create and manage multiyear product roadmap

- Technical consulting for Magento based solutions, managing POCs and Prototypes for various use cases.

- Write product requirements and coordinate with business analysts and development team to help analyse, estimate, and create release cadence and schedules.

- System integration, Consult/advice on deployment and operations of ecommerce portals

- Provide line management of the development team including full responsibility for the recruitment, performance management and retention of staff.

- Be able to work with business teams directly and provide solutions

- Participate and lead delivery of business requirements and opportunities that come up from time to time.

- Build a strong team to support development.

- Take responsibility for the management and ongoing coaching of e commerce team members in line with core skills / competencies identified for the roles within best practice guidelines.

- Lead key projects and ensure effective implementation of those delegated to other team members.

- Manage on-going and new development and delivery solutions, complying with the Ecommerce internal development standards.

- Architect, define, develop and establish integration with other systems that interact with existing software solutions and vice versa.

Skills & Experience

- A graduate degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent

- Strong leadership and senior level credibility and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

- 5+ years of product management in the e-commerce software/platform, ERP, enterprise software, or technology industry

- At least 10+ years' experience in managing, developing, integrating, implementing and supporting enterprise applications for retail business.

- A strong understanding of SDLC process, Integration savvy and have excellent experience in integrating external systems.

- Extensive experience and hands-on knowledge of underlying technologies of UI and Cloud.

- Excellent analytical skills and communication skills and be a team player.

- Solid experience in leading and managing a team, and successfully delivering projects.
