URGENT OPENING : Senior Analyst(AM)/Principal Analyst (Manager) with One of the Major International Bank, based out of Bangalore. Having Business operations across 160 countries.

Location - Bangalore, India

Job Purpose:

Provide analytic support to the business teams; develop/own comprehensive end to end solutions to address business problems, drive innovative analytical approaches across the broader team and conceptualize and execute solutions to ambiguous problems, contribute to planning and execution of organizational initiatives. Communicate and present effectively to partners and senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

- Analytic Project Execution: Consistently deliver on multiple and complex projects aligned to business priorities independently. Develop/ own comprehensive end to end solutions to address business problems. Drive innovative analytical approaches across the broader team and conceptualize and execute solutions to ambiguous problems.

- Business Knowledge: Develop an understanding of the business. Understand and enhance business practices and processes.

- Teamwork: Effectively contribute and add value to cross functional initiatives. Train and coach others in the organization. Seek to learn from other areas within the site to improve analytic approaches for the team.

- Communication: Communicate and present effectively to partners and senior leadership

- Organizational Development: Contribute to organizational initiatives in wide ranging areas including competency development, training, organizational building activities etc.

Candidate Specification:

Skills:

- Established competency in one or more of the following

- Financial Analysis

- Business Analysis

- Statistical Modeling

- Strong Analytical aptitude and logical reasoning ability

- Strong presentation and communication skills.

- Strong process/project management skill

- Knowledge of analytical tools such as SAS/SQL and complex data sources

- Experience in one or more financial services businesses (cards, retail bank, mortgage etc)

Knowledge and Expertise:

- Highly numerate, as demonstrated by Masters in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Operational Research, Business Administration, Economics etc. from Premier Institute or a track record of performance that demonstrates this ability.

Preferred:

- 3-8 Yrs Experience in Financial Services/Analytics Industry
