Currently we have excellent opportunity for C# developers for our leading investment banking client in Mumbai. Below mentioned is the detailed job description:

Job description :

Experience : 9-13 years with strong technology background

Job location : Bangalore (Whitefield)

Designation : AVP

Role : IC and a SME role with strong focus on Oracle Technical skills.

Role and responsibilities:

- Development and deliverables of Oracle database code with best standards

- Support and maintenance of QA and production database systems.

- Review requirements; prepare/contribute to design decisions & testing strategy.

- Understand the scope, impact, and criticality of deliveries of the system in partnership with global development leads.

- Oversee implementation of best practices, standardize processes and effectively increase transparency and predictability

- Interface with architects, PMs remotely

- Mentor and motivate vendor partner teams as required to get the best out of them

- Arrange trainings, KT, etc. and ensure the vendor team see the big picture and feels the ownership of tasks at hand.

- Release auditing and documentation.

- Oversee and manage all deliverables from the vendor partner.

- Help vendor partner come up with appropriate project and productivity metrics & KPIs

- Act as a SME for a defined set of applications and as a generalist for MR.

- Responsible to get our vendor partner up the value chain and create essential quality and productivity measures.

Technical Expertise/Required Skills :

- Strong written and oral communication skills.

- Willing to work closely with vendor teams, understand problems and put in long term fixes and processes to achieve a high quality delivery.

- Strong knowledge of MR application suite with expertise in 2 or more.

- 8 to 10 years extensive experience as a Oracle developer with at least 18 month of recent hands-on active Oracle development – preferably in a team lead position.

- Strong in Oracle 10g/11g new features, concepts & architecture.

- Must have command in SQL and PLSQL with features like Collections, Bulk-Operators.

- Must have strong performance tuning of Oracle Code using Explain Plan, TKPROF, Indexes, Hints, Partitioning, Materalized Views, Wait Events, Locks & Latches, Parallel Processing, Optimizer Features, Interpreting Statistics, Histograms, Automatic Workload Repositroy (AWR), SQL-Monitoring.

- Must have knowledge about OLTP and OLAP with knowledge of Logical/Physical Database Desing, Data Normalization, Star/Snowflake Schema Patterns.

- Overview on Oracle Database administration will be advantage.

- Knowledge of ETL and Informatica will be advantage.

- Should have worked on Oracle IDE tools like SQL* Plus, PLSQL Developer (or equivalent Tool) and Oracle Client tools like SQL* Loader, Datapump

- Understanding of risk analysis and exposure to Investment Banking products (desirable).

- Should be able to work with minimal supervision, collaborate with geographically dispersed teams of PMs, Bas and tech leads.
