Sr Mgr - Projects - Chemical - Mfg/Plant

We have been retained by a professionally managed German MNC Conglomerate for the recruitment of Senior Manager-Projects for their various upcoming manufacturing plants/unit in various parts of the country in India. Incumbent will be stationed at Navi Mumbai Office at Thane Belapur.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Manager-Projects

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering mandatory. Master’s Degree, PhD or MBA preferable.

Work Experience:

1. Minimum 15 years total work experience.

2. Minimum 12 years work experience in investment project management.

3. Minimum 8 years work experience in chemical and petrochemical industry.

4. Work experience in Engineering companies preferable.

5. International work experiences will be an advantage.

6. Leadership experiences are mandatory

7. Work experiences in other industries will be an advantage

Technical and Professional knowledge:

A. Core Skills:

1. Proficiency in spoken and written English mandatory.

2. Knowledge of chemical engineering mandatory

3. Project management skills mandatory

4. Project controlling skills mandatory

5. Negotiation skills mandatory

6. Planning and scheduling skills mandatory

7. Cost engineering skills mandatory

B. Preferable Skills:

1. Communication skills in regional language (e.g. Gujarati) preferable.

2. Skills in chemical process design/ optimization preferable

3. Skills in (chemical) project engineering/ plant design preferable

4. Skills in (chemical) plant engineering preferable

5. Skills in mechanical engineering prefeour CVrable

6. Skills in electrical engineering preferable

7. Skills in instrumentation preferable

8. Skills in civil engineering preferable

9. Skills in relevant softwares/ engineering tools like CAD, MS Project preferable

10. Skills in purchasing and contracting will be an advantage

11. Skills in authority engineering will be an advantage
