Job Title – Senior Manager –Consumer Insights
Job purpose:
- Responsible for driving the consumer insights and marketing research agenda. Responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports and making recommendations based upon the research findings.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive the consumer insights and qualitative and quantitative research agenda
- Responsible for conducting high-level research and analysis of companies, industries, clients, competitors.
- Provide management with actionable insights based on customer and market information to aid in their decision-making.
- Enhance consumer understanding to enable scientific marketing and sales decision making
- Ensure timely execution of research projects as per plans by coordinating with marketing and research teams
- Analyse and interpret data to identify patterns and solutions
- Spot trends and decode them for future NPD
- Work closely with brand and NPD groups to deliver research based solutions
- Drive the insights’ innovation agenda
- Manage research budgets

4. Job holder profile
Qualifications:
MBA/MS/MSc from Delhi School of Economics, Indian Statistical Institute would be preferred.
Experience required:
10 years of relevant experience in FMCG research function and / or research agencies
Job essentials:
- Thorough knowledge of how consumer research works – both qualitative and quantitative
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong presentation and people skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written, and ability to communicate at all levels and functions
- Has to be a Self Starter &innovative
- Calm, collected, unflappable nature
- Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and SPSS/SAS and online survey development/reporting software knowledge
