The Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) practice within the organization focuses on clients in:

- Communications telecommunications providers, cable television companies, wireless and satellite carriers, broadcast, internet and interactive service providers

- Media and Entertainment entertainment, publishing, printing, and advertising industry

- Electronics & High Tech (E&HT) aerospace & defense, communications equipment, computer hardware, consumer electronics, data storage equipment, office equipment, semiconductor, and software manufacturers

This role is for a Program Management Consultant in the CMT practice who will provide deep domain skills to help clients design and implement their sales, channel, marketing and business strategies, to improve processes by mapping processes to industry standards, by streamlining process and business workflow modeling.

The Program Management Consultant will be responsible for helping to drive our CMT clients business program management efforts. Responsibilities may include:

- Project Delivery: Work on medium to large-size teams to manage large-scale programs for global clients.

Responsibilities may include:

- Status and Performance Management

- Financial Management including forecasting and variance analysis

- Budgeting and Planning including estimating, resource planning and reporting

- Quality Management

- Risk and Issue Management

- Change Request Management

- Knowledge and Documentation Management including knowledge capture and documentation control

- Communications and Stakeholder Management

- Business Development: Support efforts of global sales team to identify and win potential opportunities within the CMT practice

- Industry Expertise: Provide industry expertise in telecommunications, high tech and/or media and entertainment industries

- Domain Development: Develop assets and methodologies, develop of points-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, conduct public speaking and publish in industry periodicals

Experience:

Specific experiences will include:

- A minimum of 8 years of progressive industry and/or consulting experience; experience in a consulting firm is preferable

- Strong telecom industry background and experience with experience in Program Management

- Consulting or functional experience for operators / service providers in at least two of more areas of program management:

- Status and Performance Management

- Financial Management

- Budgeting and Planning

- Quality Management

- Risk and Issue Management

- Change Request Management

- Knowledge and Documentation Management

- Communications and Stakeholder Management

- Experience working on a large-scale implementation or transformation project preferred

- Experience working with C level executive clients

- MBA.

- Global exposure is desirable.

- Possesses excellent communication (written and oral) skills and excellent presentation skills

- Comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the C level executives in a range of environments

- Comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm

- Excellent team work and ability to work in distributed delivery environment

- Possesses and demonstrates high integrity and credibility as perceived by all those with whom s/he will work

- Strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts

- Be diplomatic, flexible, and have a good team approach

Other Details

- Location Mumbai is preferred.

- Travel - Ability to accommodate global travel 60%-70% or more
