Position Title - Sr Manager/ AVP Human Resource
Department - Human Resources
Position Reports To : Head - Human Resources
Location(s) : Mumbai Head Office
Job Purpose:
The Incumbent will be working closely with the HR Head to align HR Objectives with the business objectives Will serve as a consultant to managers on Human Resource related issues. The incumbent is to act as employee champion and change agent. He/ She will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to managers and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities -
- Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership wth Leadership/ Managers to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Ensure a robust Performance Management process and build a high performing organsiation.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Develop and maintain HR Policies aligned to the market.
- May assist int'l employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
- Assist business unit structuring & workforce planning
- Work on the Talent Management framework, succession Planning of critical positions
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up with COE’s to ensure training objectives are met.
- Work closely with the Compensation & Benefits COE to ensure robust Compensation programs, annual compensation revision cycle.
- Lead the market Benchmarking exercise for compensation
- Manage the HR budgeting excercise

Work Experience
7-8 years experience either as HR generalist in a process driven Organisation with focus on Talent Management practices
Minimum Educational Qualifications
Preferably a Post Graduate In Human Resource Management
