The Finance Effectiveness Practice at the Big 4 provides consulting services/solutions for a CFO's office across varied industries. Some of these include -

- Enterprise perfromance management

- Strategy to execution for setting up enterprise performance measurment framework and driving efficiencis in Budgeting and Forecasting, Business Analysis, product pricing and costing.

- Finance process Re-engineering - Some of the solutions include transaction efficiencies for Customer Billing processes, credit management, account payable/receivable, Financial Reporting

- Shared Services/ outsourcing advisory - assess options for improving Finance Costs and effectiveness through outsourcing or setting up captive centres

Principal Consultants / Managing Consultants

1. Expected to manage projects to client satisfaction by adding value to clients.

2. Ensure projects are delivered to budget thus adding value to the Firm.

3. Manage team - ensure they are engaged, motivated and aligned

4. Have business development targets and should leverage the firm’s channels, programs and client relationships to sell services.

5. Oversee project deliverables and deliver as an individual contributor where expected

- Strong verbal, written and inter-personal skills and ability to interact with senior level stakeholders

- Knowledge of Six Sigma is desirable and a certification will be a bonus

- Should be willing to travel extensively – about 50% of time, including international.
