- 15 years experience in TMC (travel Management Company)/ Travel division of MNC/ Airlines/ Online booking tool.

- To be able to Manage $82M Air Travel globally.

Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

- P & L responsibility; achieving revenue and cost objectives.

- Responsible for Air Travel India International, Global Geo's, GDS (global distribution system), Global Travel System (Client’s internal system).

- Procure consolidator fares with consolidators on global level,negotaite airline deals and periodical review with vendors.

- Prepare report back/MIS to arrive at financial trends.

- Continuously work on Quality and process improvement. Benchmarking service standards from similar organizations, study cost benefit figures for improved efficiencies.

- Excellent networking in the Travel industry.

Skills & Experience

Required

- Managing people, superior knowledge of product.

- Has a clear appreciation of industry related issues.

- Minimum 15 years experience in airline business and professional training in Travel related subjects (IATA recognized) recommended.

- Exposure to handling corporate travel for large conglomerates is essential. . Hands on knowledge on reservations, fares and fare analysis.

- Skills - Planning, Analytical, Negotiation and Customer orientation.

- Knowledge: Good understanding of travel and aviation functions required for the development and distribution of metrics, programs, and tools that enable operations to manage demand, comply with corporate policy and realize cost savings on a global basis.

Location of Posting - Bangalore

- Must be capable of working in a high pressure environment dealing with deadlines, discerning executives and making good experience based decisions and good business recommendations.

- Ability to interface with top management skills.
