The following responsibilities cover all current and future company customers, primarily focused in supply chain and Inventory management:
- Implement and Manage sales and operations planning (S&OP) function in conjunction with key customers.
- Oversee forecasting function
- Oversee demand and supply balancing (DSB) function
- Oversee retail inventory optimisation function
- Advise client inventory with the Warehouse and in channel
- Provision of inventory management strategies, processes and costs for new business opportunities
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the inventory management models.
- Liaison with operating departments - Supply Chain, Logistics, Channel Sales, Strategic Sourcing and Finance.
- Reporting and analysis of all aspects of inventory. Design and maintain reporting dashboards to optimize data analysis
- Prepare a supply plan and control issue of purchase orders to clients and/or vendors
- Development of supply chain management strategies and frameworks
- Manage process documentation, development and innovation for all current and future customers.
- Manage key customer supply chain relationships.
- Manage SCP operating rhythm in collaboration with clients and internal stake holders
- Manage master data requirements with regional master data team
- Manage proprietary planning tools in conjunction with IT and other relevant parties.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by the Sales Director.
- Manage assigned team members and third party contracts
- Ensure appropriate governance of sales and operations planning meeting is maintained
- Manage supplier collaboration strategy, implementation and execution where required

- Ensure that inventory risks are proactively managed and dealt with in accordance to company and client policy

- Ensure supply chain planning tools are maintained and used to best practice levels
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with relevant Vendor personnel
- Ensure supply chain knowledge levels are commensurate with best practice inventory management solutions
- Lead and co-ordinate business case preparation for new business and process improvement initiatives.
- Timely and accurate performance monitoring and reporting
- Development and implementation of Supply Chain management excellence frameworks
- Deliver improvement initiatives that enhance the strategic objectives of company.
- Support the Sales-Director in respect to strategic development and decision making
- Manage to enable on target or better contribution to operations KPIs
- Ensure team members within Supply Chain are fully aware of business continuity planning (BCP)requirements.
Profile:
Education:
- Recognised Supply Chain Management Qualifications or Strong Related Inventory Management Experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in a Supply Chain Management or Planning Management Role in a Telecom, Retail, FMCG or related Industry.
