Position : Sr Manager – Shared Services - Accounting Process for Global Food MNC
Department : Finance
Overall purpose of job:
- Responsible for managing the Shared Service Centre of the Company
Main activities/tasks:
- Creation of a Shared Service Centre for the Company
- Supervise & manage the Shared Service Centre and ensure the best service levels
- Help in standardizing the business processes across various Business units.
- Formulate KPIs for the Shared Service Centre
- Establish systems to measure & report the performance of the SSC against the agreed KPIs
- Recruitment & training of staff as per company policy.
- Formulate a Business Continuity Plan for the operations of the SSC.
- Liaise with the stake holders and ensure 100% customer satisfaction
Special requirements, external and internal contacts, travel, working conditions, etc
- The candidate should have good knowledge of the working of a Shared Service Centre. He / She should also have through knowledge of the business processes on an FMCG organization, ( preferably in Foods business) with special focus on distribution. Thorough knowledge of SAP is essential
- Experience in Process transformation / process improvement
- Experience in transitioning & consolidation
Education, qualifications, special training, experience and skills:
- Chartered Accountant with around 10 years of experience in Shared Service Operation of which at least 4 years should be on a senior level independently handling a team of > 30 people.
Personality requirements and competencies:
- Functional Mastery – Business Processes, SSC practices, Accounting
- Communication – written & verbal
- Computer Knowledge – knowledge of SAP & MS Office
- Integrity – Individual with impeccable track-record and integrity.
