Designation- Regional HR Head-Sr. Manager

Location- Bangalore

MBA- must be regular from a Good B school (2005-2008 BATCH pass out)

Job Responsibilities-

Purpose of the Job

The position will have the responsibility of overall business partnering. talent management, organization productivity and ensuring talent retention & engagement.

At a strategic level , will be responsible for driving the culture of the region, ensuring high Employee Engagement . Organization development, Capability Development and building capability in areas of productivity, identification, development and retention of the talent pool . At the operations level, to strategize, plan & ensure implementation of all HR operations for the Region in order to support business operations and achieve organizational objectives

The incumbent will be a partner to the region EC team and drive the business agenda by bringing in a strong people perspective

1. Business Transformation & Productivity –

- Plan and implement change management for business transformation initiatives like transitions, outsourcing initiatives, drive productivity norms as per regional requirements and ensure functional productivity in line with the company business recommended norms.

2.Talent Management & Development

- Create the Talent Management Plan for the region (band 2 & below) and ensure personal connect, implementation and monitoring of the development actions of B2 & below with specific focus on top talent ;

- Proactively plan and execute movement of identified successors to B2 & below critical roles within region, across airtel business and across airtel.

- Drive & review Top talent & YL DAPs as per top talent DAP governance plan.
Implement career paths and plan movements as per career paths defined.

- Plan & execute the capability development agenda for all employees – functional & behavioral .

- Drive mandatory certifications like Enterprise University and region specific development interventions from time to time depending on business need

3. Performance Management & Engagement

- Implement end to end PMS Process by creating a performance oriented culture through continuous engagement and devising strategies/policies/integration into development processes.

- Adhere to process timelines and normalization bell curves. Engage with central resources to align Band 2 ratings as per regional inputs.

- Plan, monitor & ensure engagement action planning and implementation and drive timely, transparent and meritocracy based R&R through the line managers.

- Ensure engagement interventions across multiple circles and build platforms for cross functional connects.

4. Talent Acquisition

- Ensure proactive planning & influence with central TA for pipeline building/ recruitment of all critical positions within defined TATs.

- Facilitate the culture of sourcing through IJP

- Proactively work with TA to identify bench for specialist roles like PSS, BSG, govt accounts etc

- Monitor QOH adherence and focus on hiring from non-telcos to create varied industry expertise within the region.

- Ensure appropriate and detailed induction and onboarding.

5. HR Operations

- Monitor and control expense on Travel and Staff Welfare expense to manage HR opex. Create plans and ongoing governance to ensure adherence to AOP.

- Adherence to all Statutory compliances

- Support & monitor HR Activ in all Operations Related activities.

- Ensure timely compliance on all people processes

6. Projects

- Work on HR STRAP projects of company..

- Drive strategic projects specific to region

- Special interventions to be implemented from time to time basis business need.
