Senior Manager/Manager - QBM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. "TQM implementation", "Six Sigma Practitioner", "TPM Facilitator", "QBM"

2. To create awareness about QBM including 5S, 3M, AM and process orientation

3. To create awareness about structured problem solving and facilitate solving of major cost and quality problems

4. To implement concept of shop-floor uplifting by improving 5S and eliminating 3 Mus (Muri, Mura and Mudas)

5. To implement 5S and conduct regular audit across the plant

6. To organize facilitation of external experts in creating systems and processes as and when required

7. To make Kaizen policy for CEAT, and implement it through training people

8. To facilitate problem solving teams for use of various tools like QC story or six sigma

9. Establishing system for monitoring the benefits of problem solving projects

10. To establish daily management across manufacturing processes

11. To facilitate annual planning in QBM way

12. To establish concepts of advance maintenance techniques like Plant Maintenance (PM), Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)

13. To ensure clarity on RRA (Roles, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities) of owners of various processes across the organization

14. To identify opportunities for improvement towards flexibility and leanness using technique of Value Stream Mapping

- Proficiency in Plant systems & processes (Master)
(Ability to understand & implement 5S, safety practices, production best practices, QBM, BPR and other contemporary systems & process)

- Relationship Management (Master)
(Ability to develop & sustain business relationship to one's advantage)

(Cultural orientation to engage with customers, proactively assess their needs and continuously create value for them)

- Facilitation Skills (Master)
(Ability to influence process-owners, foster buy-ins, align people goals & drive various people processes)

- Proficiency in analyzing & measuring cost of resources, processes & projects (Advanced)
(Technical knowhow & ability to understand various inputs of men, machine materials etc. to give an output within a given environment/time/ cost parameters)

PREFERRED AGE -30 - 32 yrs

QUALIFICATION - B.E./B.Tech(Regular)

EXPERIENCE - 8 - 10 yrs

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
(IF ANY)

- Prior experience in TQM implementation in Automobile/Manufacturing industry

- Certified problem-solver/ TPM Facilitator/ Six Sigma Practitioner
