Role Purpose :  - Leading the Middle Office Transaction Management Control team based in Bangalore servicing Global Markets trading desks across the difference geographies.  - Emphasis is placed on developing a motivated team environment, with a focus on mitigating trading risk to the bank and identify/implement improvements to the control processes.   - Managing the daily activities of the team around validation of OTC derivative products, ensuring validation of financial economics details are completed consistently according to defined product class attributes.   - Maintain statistics with regards to validation of volumes and errors originated from trading desks.  - Review & ensure all system queues (that must be cleared by EOD) have been checked and all transactions have migrated to Operations for processing  - Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, senior managers, group and other key stakeholders; anticipating and responding to evolving customer needs through controlling and delivering project communications.  Responsibilities :  - Proactively identify control gaps and lead changes for improvement to reduce trading & operational risk.  - Drive cost saving initiatives.  - Work with Associate Director to ensure costs are managed within planned budget.  - Efficient use of resources and turnaround times for key deliverable (SLAs, capacity planning, coordination and collation of applicable reporting)  - Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, senior managers, group and other key stakeholders  - Anticipating and responding to evolving customer needs through controlling and delivering project communications  - Drive initiatives across the business to enhance customer experience  - Independent validation of financial economic details are completed & consistent according to defined subset of asset class attributes  - Maintain & analyis statistics with regards to validation & error volumes highlighting to senior management behavioral trends in relation to trade booking errors  - Exceptional understanding of trade bookings and methodologies across different asset class from vanilla to complex structured trades  - Review & ensure all system queues (that must be cleared by EOD) have been checked and all transactions have migrated to Operations for processing  Qualifications :  - Exceptional strong knowledge in FICC asset classes and methodology across vanilla and structured trades  - Experience with dealing with Front office / Product Control / Business Management / Operational Risk  - Excellent working knowledge of Middle Office control functions  - Strong industry practises & regulatory knowledge around OTC Regulatory reform  - Functional working knowledge of Murex, Markitwire, and Wallstreet  - Demonstrated prior experience in financial process design and/or re-engineering, with a focus of change management for Control processes  Naveta Anand
