SENIOR PROCUREMENT PROFESSIONAL

Looking for a senior Procurement Professional having expertise in

- Purchase / Procurement Strategies

- Project Procurement

- Strategic Sourcing

- Global Sourcing

- E-procurement / Reverse Auction Management

- Inventory Management

- Contracting / Tendering

- Vendor Management / Development

Candidate should have experience in following areas:

- Handled procurement spend for variety of highly competitive industries like – Telecom, Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing, Power Engineering, ITES, Steel, Oil & Gas, Power, Automation & control systems etc.

- Knowledge about heavy electrical industry / transformers / switch gears will be added advantage.

- Negotiation & procurement of indigenous & imported third party bought out, indirect, capex items and service contracts with local as well as global vendor base.

- Well versed in contract negotiations & management, projects estimations, document preparation, regulating material purchasing and site management & project execution.

- Well versed with procurement requirement in a factory as well as service environment.

- Thorough understanding of Work contract taxation, Service tax, statutory rules & its effects on procurement cost.

- Thorough understanding of EXIM Policy, Custom duties, Sales Tax (CST), VAT & CT3 regulations.

Reporting

- This Position will report to Head of Operations

- 2-3 Manager / Asst. Manager Level will report to this position

- Overall team Strength will be 7-8

Qualification Requirement

- B Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering from a reputed Institute.

- Higher Qualification in Materials Management will be preferred.

Required Experience

- 15 -18 years of experience in Telecom, Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing, Power Engineering industry.
