Title: Senior Manager - Operations

Industry: ITES - Financial captive BPO

Experience: 8 years + in a similar role.

Education: MBA from a premier institute

Location: Pune

Compensation: Industry best

Important note: Should be OK to work in shifts

Employee strength to manage: 400

Responsibilities:

- Manage day to day operations of 2 locations (Mumbai & Pune)

- Direct reports will be approximately 2 Manager and 3 Assistant Managers.

- Total staff at both location will be approximately 400 FTEs

- Identify improvement opportunities related to the underwriting (Government and in-house) programs and processes

- Reduce variability among team members

- Attend and present to third parties when sight visits require the same

- Confirm compliance to all investor and government guidelines

- Daily, weekly, and monthly communication to team members regarding goals, key drivers, procedural changes, and important company messages

- Confirm all business unit policies and procedures are updated to reflect requirements

- Partner with Six Sigma Team and other servicing business units to continually update / upgrade / improve programs for better results related to the government programs

- Prepare reporting on team results of key performance indicators

- Assist in creation and attend monthly operations review presentation for Senior and Executive Management

Key Result Areas:

- Assure all key drivers are achieved related to production, quality goals and variability

- Timely implementation and compliance of all directives

- Motivation of team members

- Training of new hires and ongoing training of existing employees when deficiencies or new policies require the same

- Annual reviews of direct reports

- Assist with interview and hiring needs

- Perform staffing analysis on a monthly basis to ensure staffing needs are met

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of MS Office

- Excellent written and oral presentation skills

- Cross-cultural exposure preferred

- Candidate should have 2 plus years of mortgage / banking / servicing experience

- Experience with negotiating

- Graduate preferably post graduation from a reputed business school/university

- Strong organizational skills

- Strong analytical skills, including ability to develop reports, analyze and interpret data

- Ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and adapt to constantly changing business environment

- The ideal candidate will be self confident and goal oriented

- Customer oriented individual

- Extremely innovative

- Strong Leadership skills
