Senior Manager marketing-Only from Quick service Restaurants/ Exp 5-10 years / Location - Mumbai

Designation: Senior Manager - Marketing

Reports To: VP – Marketing & Communications

Span of Control: Corporate Clients

Location: Malad (W), Mumbai

Position Purpose:

- Strengthen the Sodexo retail offer portfolio

- Create, implement and constantly improve the portfolio as appropriate to the various Sodexo segments and in line with the Company Group Offer Development strategy

- Offers must be built utilizing Company’s five step approach to offer development and be based on consumer insight. The development, design and communication of offers must be administered using the Company offer management tools - Iris and Hermes.

Role Description:

The role is accountable for –

- Developing the company retail offering across the various segments with a clear focus to connect with the end consumer

- Drive retail pricing, merchandising and promotions – thereby improving profitability

- Ensuring that the offer’s robustness includes complete support of the deployment process.

- Portfolio Articulation and development of marketing strategy with the senior operating team, utilizing the company group approach & tools as well as the 3 year plan for the country.

- Ensure full utilization of Group marketing tools such as Iris/Hermes for offer creation. Identify adoption opportunity to avoid duplication.

- Develop and implement measures to evaluate the effectiveness of offers deployed and a corrective action process for dealing with issues.

- Liaise with operations, sales, procurement, finance and human resources to optimize the business model.

- Understand and interpret the business & economic environment to deliver timely solutions.

The key performance indicators are –

- Develop the retail offering with a robust merchandising, shelving, pricing and promotion plan that would drive cash sales and profitability for the organisation

- Have a strong understanding of consumers and their buying patterns

- Good working relation with supply chain to drive the right product mix

- Managed and updated Offer Development plan, driven by the Portfolio Articulation strategy

- Offers should be created/adapted utilizing IRIS, and achieve Qualified Status within HERMES through the provision of robust & effective documentation

- Reviews & engages in feedback from Operational & Deployment teams on offer module design & performance

- Promote the usage of consumer research tools and management information across the business

Experience:

- Should have a Category management experience

- MBA or equivalent in Marketing

- Experience in a retail food industry – quick service restaurant would be preferred

- Operations experience
