Job Purpose--To spearhead the retail initiative for the organization. The role encompasses the entire gamut of activities right from initiation to completion of projects.
Requisites
Experience :
- 10 + years in managing retail projects.
- Experience in working with diverse and partly virtual teams.
- Experience in managing Luxury and Specialty Retail projects would be a definite advantage.
Knowledge :
- Knowledge of standard costs for tenancy fitout in Metro Cities.
- Strategic alliances with various contractors in all operational facets.
- Cost and efficiency knowledge for various forms of retail projects.
- Technically sound in construction, tenancy coordination & MEP (Mechanical, electrical and plumbing) works.
Skills :
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies.
- Sets and maintains high standards of performance.
Abilities :
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Deliverables
- Spearhead the retail initiative by scouting for potential locations where stores can be set up.
- Negotiating tenders and contracts with relevant parties to initiate the process of the store set up.
- Liaisoning with international Interior Designers.
- Agreeing to project objectives, milestones and timelines in line with business plan requirements.
- Assessing the capability of all contractors and sub-contractors in line with the project specification & brief.
- Review and ensure all materials used by vendors are as per brand standards.
- Monitoring contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained.
- Setting and maintaining a tight control of completion of tasks as per project schedule.
- Maintaining Cost efficiencies at all stages of the project.
- Ensure that all accounting, costing and billing processes are received within business cost targets.

Work Timings : 9:30 am – 6:00 pm (8 ½ hours)
