Position Title : Senior Manager – Learning & Development
Location : Corporate Office, Mumbai
Reporting To AVP – Learning & Development (Head of Banca & Agency training)
Exp in General Insurance is a must
- Minimum Graduation degree
- Minimum 7+ years of post qualification experience.
- The candidate should be preferably from general insurance industry. Candidates from BFSI/FMCG can be considered from channel sales/sales training background. Candidates who have seen size and scale of training would have added advantage
Purpose of Position:
- This Role Leads the entire gamut of Banca Training for SBI General Insurance Co Ltd.
- Size & Scale of the Role: Number of Bankers covered in a Financial year for the purpose of training could be as high as 10,000/year.
- This position will be an integral part of the HR team and will be responsible for:- a) Banca Training (80%) b) Employee Training (20%)
Responsibilities:
Banca Training:
- Delivery of Retail Products, Process & System specific training ex. Motor, Health, Fire, Marine, LTH, PA etc. to the bank officials
- Delivery of SME Products, process & system training ex. Business Package, Fire, Marine, Burglary products etc. to the bank officials
- Responsible for designing, developing and delivering training.
- Good understanding of the different learning methodologies and their effectiveness
- Responsible for designing delivery mechanism.
- Managing Logistics
- Assistance in design of content for training programmes.
- Communication with stakeholders to ensure there is no communication gap and training program is executed in smooth manner
- Will be suggesting cost efficient and effective ways to manage training budgets and publishing MIS for target v/s actual budget
- If required the role holder may have to deliver trainings to Agents
Employee Training:
- Project Management of assigned Projects
- Overall Project Management of the training projects assigned to the Role Holder
- Linking the training projects to Company’s bottom line
- Product Process & System Training
- Product, process, system training to employees as and when required
- Responsible for designing, developing and delivering training.
- Managing Logistics
Leadership development training as per Organizational
Team Management:
- We plan to recruit 14 circle Trainers. They would have functionally reporting to this role holder.
