Key Responsibilities;
- Plan, develop and implement strategy for HR management and development including policy/practices, employee engagement, discipline, grievance, counselling, pay and conditions, contracts, succession planning, moral and motivation, culture and attitude development, performance appraisal and quality management
- Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development, both for organisation and the team.
- Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievement within agreed formats and timescales
- Manage and develop direct reporting team
- Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purpose and achievements.
- Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirement for quality management, health and safety, legal requirement, environmental policies and general duty of care if admin also reports to HR.
- Audit and authenticate all documents related to legal, salary statements and distribution, policies etc.
- Plan for employee's performance appraisal; develop tools for appraisal, job evaluation and development.
- Competency mapping and employee development (need based or general) as per the latest practices for all levels.
- He/she will build the organisation and take entrepreneurial initiative. Will make strategy and implement the same. Will be the decision maker.
- The incumbent should be an HR Business partner and not a glorified recruiter. Should have talent to bring people on board. Will build a team of 100-125 people in the first year.
Education : MBA-HR from a reputed institute
