Our client, a Fortune 500 Telecom OEM requires an HR Shared Service Centre Manager at Gurgaon. We need candidates who are full time MBA's from premier B-schools with relevant experience. Female candidates will be given preference.

Job description

- India HRSC: The HR Service Manager provides leadership, planning, project coordination and management of administrative operations. The Manager HRSC has primary responsibility to drive the success of the HRSC and uphold the mission to provide consistent, efficient customer service to the company's employees, managers, and HR personnel on the basis of SLA.

Local HR support: supporting local HR activities

Main responsibilities:

- Liaises with Global HR portal to provide a seamless level of service to our internal customers by proposing and improving the existing processes

- Manage the New Hire and New Hire Orientation process flow and reporting

- Manages responses to manager/employee/HR information requests and sensitive issues via phone or email in an effective, discrete and professional manner

- Educates customers on the availability and benefits of the HR Portal (self-service)

- Provides feedback to the Management in a structured manner (trends in customer queries/issues, non-standard customer demands, customer adoption of SSC..) and assists in improving the HR organizations' service delivery

- Drives data quality by global company standards by validating data from time to time.

- Ensure data is entered in the appropriate HR systems upon request of HR customers in an effective and accurate manner

- Produces at regular intervals standard HR data reports (audits) and alerts the appropriate HR organization/employee in case of missing data/anomalies

- Interacts with other departments for data transfers (eg Payroll,..)

- Assume and perform other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position

- Recommend and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual process improvements to ensure efficiency of the HR Service Center and services performed

- Continues enhancement of India HRSC scope

- Support Local HR activities like

- Induction

- Reporting

- Maintaining physical records (personal files) of employees

- Maintaining the India HR portal by keeping it up to date

Key Competencies:

- Min. 7-10 year of experience in HRSS

- Ability to manage operational staff working to tight timelines while maintaining quality

- High standard of personal integrity (Dependability to handle extremely confidential information in a professional manner)

- High level of Customer Focus

- Accountability

- Adaptability, able to handle multiple demands (Ability to multi-task)
