Sr Manager - Finance - CA - FMCG

Job Description:

Functional Areas:

- Preparation of Quarterly, Half yearly & Annual Balance Sheet and the consolidation of a/cs of subsidiaries as per listing requirement & company Act 2013 & able to handle entire day to day company accounts and reporting and maintaining accounts as per regulatory and legal requirement.

- Prepare year to date financial MIS on monthly basis and analyze financial performance against key business metrics. (Business and financial management and reporting)

- Prepare monthly analysis of cost of goods sold against budget.

- Initiate and implement essential reports from the ERP system to effectively and efficiently execute the role.

- Ensure timely resolution and closure of all internal and external audit queries for the function including setting up corrective and preventive actions.

- Maintaining statutory cost records & timely completion of cost audit.

- Banking operation and effectively monitoring working capital on day to day basis.

- Dealing with Banks & financial institution for borrowing of funds / opening of LC etc. (Ensure timely and sufficient availability of funding, Ensure cash & bank balances are monitored and mobilized for the benefit of the company)

- Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues.

Managerial Areas:

- Manage, direct and develop staff reporting to this position.

- Contributing to strategic planning and development as a member of senior team and probably keeping and distributing notes and records, reports to executive and management team.

Organisational Areas:

- Provide assistance and advice to VP finance on working capital management related matters.

- Ensure proper procedures and controls are established and maintained throughout the company for WCM related matters, including but not limited to interest and financial exposure and hedging, cash management and cash balances.

Job Specification (Functional & Behavioural):

- Should have working knowledge of Income Tax, Vat & Service Tax.

- Have a flare for numbers, work well with people, aggressively anticipate impacts of workload / issues to team deadlines and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods.

- Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

- Experience of working in ERP environment.

- Strong analytical skills.
