Position Title: Finance Manager / Sr. Manager Finance

A. Key Performance Areas

Responsible for entire Finance, accounts and commercial functions of the Shopping Centre.

Support and assist Centre Head with all financial and related functions within the Shopping Centre.

B. Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

- Lead the finance, accounts and commercial team at the Shopping Centre

- Preparation and presentation of Budgets

- Preparation and presentation of monthly, weekly MIS reports vis-à-vis the budget

- Preparation of monthly executive management report

- Review expenditure and analyse variances

- Preparation and audit of centre’s P&L and Balance Sheet.

- Manage centre’s fund flow.

- Manage office expenditure and allocate to the appropriate divisions

- Timely and correct processing and/or validating of financial transactions related to the Shopping centre into the computerised accounting system (daily transactions – billing, receipts, bill booking, payments; adjusting journals, tenant statements)

- Regular reconciliation of debtors and creditors records.

- Responsibility and custody of financial information and records

- Collection of monthly and annual turnover information from National tenants from centres and reporting thereof, Supervise the collection of all other turnover information from centres

- Roll out of new ERP package within pre-decided timeframe.

- Ensure smooth roll over to the new system without affecting timelines for MIS, P&L and Balance sheet preparation

- Supervise and conduct ERP processes, ensuring that the information reflected on the system is accurate and up to date at all times

- Ensure super-user knowledge of all modules of ERP and ability to train and coach all other staff in region

- Ensure that the financial month/year-end procedures and timetable are completed accurately and promptly

- Reconcile all amounts brought forward on rent statements of National tenants and ensure that balances outstanding on vacated tenants are recovered

- Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard client and company assets (control account reconciliation’s – GL, CM, journals, posting of batches)

- Ensure that all income and operating costs are correctly accounted for and any reconciliation issues are resolved

- Verify the accuracy of the following reports and systems: stats flash, new deals, vacancy and unsigned leases reports and spaceman

- Analyse and audit parking and special projects/agents financial reports

- Identify key priorities which add substantial value to the client and the company

- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in order to safeguard the Clients and PPZ’s assets and eliminate all risks to the Client and PPZ

Location - MUMBAI

Salary - Upto 14 lacs p.s

Qualification - CA (complusory)
