Responsibilities:-

- In the Corporate Accounting area, the candidate will manage and provide leadership to the Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams and ensure:

- Timely closing of books in accordance with US GAAP

- Timely processing of critical, periodic functions, including but not limited to, reporting requirements with external agencies and/or regulatory bodies.

- Development of policies and procedure to strengthen processes and its control environment,

- Review of journal entries and reconciliations to ensure highest standards in the presentation of financial statements.

- Identify opportunities to automate and create efficiency within the process.

Key Result Area:-

- The position will require partnering with several finance and business teams in India and US to drive and implement finance strategy to support growth and ensure strong internal control environment.

- The candidate will be responsible for supporting quarterly financial assertions. This person will be working closely with people at all levels in US & India.

- The candidate must have attention to details and should have experienced in managing teams. This person will be required to create goals and development plans for the team and identify their training and coaching requirements.

- The position will require hiring, training, on-boarding and supporting strategy that drives talent development and retention.

- The position would focus on process improvement, strategic development, and operational efficiencies specifically within the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll departments.

Qualification:

- CPA \CA with an experience of 10 - 12 years

- Strong accounting skills with ability to understand complex transactions and a proven track record of automation and standardization of complex processes

- Strong knowledge of US GAAP

- Excellent communication skills with ability to work independently and effectively with staff at all levels.

- Hands on knowledge of payroll functions, reporting (internal and external), accounting, and leadership, both within the US and India (strong preference for India payroll experience).

- A team player with excellent organization & presentation skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Dynamic

- Knowledge of application like MS Access and SQL (preferred)
