Looking for Sr. Manager/ Director Analytics with Fortune 100 Consulting Analytics Companies

Job Description

Location : Gurgaon / Mumbai / Bangalore

Major Roles and Responsibilities Include:

- Maintain an accurate, complete, up-to-date and insightful client business profiles to be shared with senior management

- Ability to solution analytics project in any domain

- Supervise statistical models creation and other adhoc analysis to support clients

- Apply appropriate techniques, such as exploratory data analysis, regression, bootstrapping, trees, cluster analysis, survival analysis and so on

- Develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis

- Partner with client teams to understand business problems and marketing strategies

- Develop Customer Analytics practice with the Client.

- Undertake sales activities independently or in conjunction with senior staff in terms of preparation and delivery of proposal and credentials

- Drive client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations during presentations or business reviews and also ensure that client needs, diagnosing issues and agreeing solutions that fully support their objectives are being identified

- Identify and recommend enhanced and new products and services that answer clients' business needs

- Lead the client servicing team with the primary responsibility of expanding our scope of influence with clients across a wider range of products and with greater depth of involvement

- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the identified key persons within client organization

- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date knowledge on modeling techniques and applications

- Knowledge on basics of regression, data mining, CHAID, CART, Forecasting techniques, econometric modeling essential

- Demonstrate a keen understanding of the client’s needs and able to match statistical techniques to client needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Drive creation of Value Offerings

- Manage a team of analytics resources to ensure that deliverables are met with quality and in a timely fashion.

- Performance management of the team

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements:

- 8-12 years of overall experience, including 3-4 years of quantitative analysis Prefer candidate with hands on experience in building statistical models. Prefer candidate with marketing/ distribution experience.

- MS in Statistics, Data Mining, Econometrics or related fields or MBA (Preferred)

- A stint in business side (pre analytics experience) will be preferred

- Should have consulting skills/ project management experience

- Exposure to US Markets is preferred

- Strong ability to work in startup kind of environment

- Desire and ability to collaborate with business partners and drive initiatives

- Ability to tie analytic solutions to business/industry value and outcomes

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in SAS / SQL or any other statistical tool.

- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Basic understanding of statistics
