About GRG....

GRG is a centralized risk group which oversees the risk at the organization level and is responsible for identification, quantification, monitoring and management of risk. It also formulates and implements the risk policies

1. Providing the overall leadership, vision and direction for risk management in the organization

2. Establishing an integrated risk management framework for all aspects of risks across the Organization

3. Developing risk management policies, including the quantification of our risk appetite through specific risk limits

4. Implementing a set of risk metrics and reports including key risk exposures and early warning indicators

5. Developing the analytical, systems and data management capabilities to support the risk management

6. Oversight of risk at an organizational level and adequate communication with the top management

Current Requirement:

We are looking for candidate for 3 businesses (Manager Credit Risk - SME, Manager Credit Risk - LAS & Sr. Manager Credit Risk - HFC)

Role:

1. Analysis of proposals put forward to IC/ CC.

2. Independent valuation of real estate and housing finance proposals, field visits and client meetings

3. Undertake or coordinate periodic risk review within the business unit and escalate findings and or breaches to Business head and designated risk officers.

4. Remain abreast of industry developments and long-term strategies across the corporation, and all corporate policies & procedures.

5. Competition Analysis. Sharing best practice

6. Develop effective senior line management relationships to ensure strong understanding of the business propose creative and pragmatic solutions for risk and control problems, and write reports that effectively convey results to senior management.

7. Remain updates to senior management on major risk risks facing the business and advise on risk appetite.

Functional Skills required:

Knowledge of the related domain (SME, LAS or HFC), credit appraisal and collateral valuation in the financial services industry with some focus on Capital Market related businesses.

In depth knowledge of Credit, market & operational  risks in related domain with good knowledge of associated legal aspects.

Knowledge of Risk assessment, risk mitigation, risk event management techniques.

Soft Skills:

- Ability to communicate & influence at all levels.

- Excellent analytic ability to understand the diverse complex business issues, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.

- Quality – high standards and controls, strong facilitation and negotiation skills.

- Effective interpersonal skills for interfacing with senior and line management. 

- Good leadership skills in motivating review team members comprising colleagues within different LOBs and Enterprise functions.
