- Lead/ implement communication initiatives in India, in close consultation with Head of Asia Corporate Communications
- Act as strategic communications advisor for Regional Head South Asia & Australia
- Identify, understand Region business requirements and develop strategic communications objectives and strategies;
- Be a single point of contact between Head of Asia Corporate Communications, Regional Head, and ensuring alignment while meeting business needs
- Facilitate senior leadership of Region in the approval and prioritization of identified communication requirement;
- Detail and document overarching communications strategy for India
- Integrate Corporate Communications strategies, frameworks and policies into Region’s overall plans;
- Implement communications activities and tactics according to agreed plan;
- Manage Region communications budget in collaboration with Head of Asia Communications, and evaluate communications effectiveness and results of India;
- Leverage relevant strategic insight from Global Corporate Communications CoEs to enhance country specific communications where applicable;
- Implement crisis communications and issues management
