Sr Manager - Business Intelligence

Looking for a technically skilled and customer-centric manager to build and manage an analytics team in IN.

This position will be responsible for building up, training and motivating a multi-functional team. This leader will be tasked with continuously raising the bar, ensuring high quality, and relevance for analytics deliverables that are critical components in decision making globally. This position, located in Bangalore, will directly report to the global analytics lead located in Seattle.

- This role requires a leader motivated to develop better than best-in-class analytics and needs to have excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding business acumen. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

- In addition to managing a team of 10-15 analysts (located in Bangalore), this position will need to have substantial interaction with the research and analytics team located in Seattle as well as stakeholders in EU and Asia. International travel (esp to the US) is required.

Responsibilities include:

- Leading and managing a multi-functional analytics team

- Guide the team and ensure that the deliverables are in-line with business needs, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner

- Works with global stakeholders to refine the deliverables to ensure relevance and utilization in critical business decisions

Basic Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in economics, statistics, computer science or a similar quantitative field

- 10+ years work experience in business analytics and primary research

- Atleast 7years experience leading analytics teams of 20 or more.

- Strong ability to interact, communicate, present and influence within multiple levels of the organization

- Prior successes in leading teams that have provided analytics support to global stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

- Consumer Electronics experience, both US and international

- Experience in a marketing role
