Sr Manager - BD/Liaison - IT - Govt/PSU

An established multi-million dollar Indian company with IT, integrated security management and identity management offerings is seeking qualified, competent and experienced individuals for a Business Development and Liaison role for its fledgling surveillance, personal protection and intelligence management division. The role will include:

1. Identifying and evaluating needs across the following four primary verticals:



a. homeland security and surveillance; b. integrated perimeter security solutions; c. protection gear for the armed forces, paramilitary forces and civilian police; d. Unmanned aerial vehicles and geo-positioning systems for civilian and military aerospace.

2. Sourcing new business from Central & State Government entities and defense Public Sector Units, as also the Armed and paramilitary forces

3. Networking with key Govt. and industry officials to establish and maintain strong B2B and B2G relationships.

4. Product demonstrations and technical presentations to vendors, clients and partners.

5. Tender evaluation, bidding, management and Contract negotiation.

Reporting to: VP: Defence & Homeland Security

The ideal candidate must have:

- BSc/ BTech/ BEngg- IT or similar IT or Informatics degree

- 10-15 years of work experience, a majority of which has been in the security, surveillance, defense and/or aerospace sector and in a BD/Sales/Operations role.

- An MBA/PGDM from a reputed post graduate institution would be a definite asset.

- Ability to speak multiple native Indian languages

- Excellent technical ability and domain knowledge

The ideal candidate will be willing to:

- Travel or relocate as necessary

- Constantly update him/herself with product, industry and domain knowledge
